Catherine Palmer
Catherine is the Director of Edgware Abbey Charitable Trust and the Nominated Individual for Henry Nihill House. She took up the role of Director in 2023, having previously served as the Registered Manager of Henry Nihill House for nine years.
Catherine is a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of nursing experience. Providing compassionate end-of-life care has always been central to her career, and she is deeply committed to ensuring that every resident is supported with dignity, comfort, and respect. Working closely with her colleagues, Catherine strives to make every day meaningful for those in their care, particularly when time is precious.
When she is not at work, Catherine enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and keeping fit.
Florence J. Clarke
Florence joined Henry Nihill House in February 2025 as Home Manager and was appointed Registered Manager by the CQC in September 2025. A qualified nurse since 1976, Florence gained extensive experience at St Thomas’ Hospital in London, including teaching and assessing nurses, before moving into the care sector in 1998.
She feels privileged to work at Henry Nihill House, where the values of the home fully support and embrace the needs of residents and their families. Florence is proud to be part of a team where compassionate care is never compromised and always applies the “Mum’s Test” to ensure the highest standards for residents.
When away from work, Florence enjoys spending time with her family, going to church, and gardening.
Nicole Jager
Nicole joined Henry Nihill House in 2014 as a member of the reception and administrative team. After nine years in this role, she moved into the position of Charity Administrator, where she is responsible for overseeing the care home’s incoming and outgoing finances.
Nicole finds working in the care sector extremely rewarding and takes pride in being part of a service that makes a genuine difference to the lives of older and vulnerable people. She values the strong relationships built with residents, families, and colleagues, and enjoys being part of a close and supportive team.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, and is a keen football fan.
Reema Bohara
Reema joined Henry Nihill House in 2022 as a Care Assistant and has since progressed to become a Registered Nurse and Deputy Manager. She feels privileged to be part of the organisation and is deeply appreciative of the encouragement, trust, and support she has received from colleagues throughout her journey.
Reema believes in leading with kindness, honesty, and understanding, and values the importance of teamwork in creating a positive and supportive environment. She is motivated each day by the comfort, reassurance, and meaningful difference the team can bring to the lives of older and vulnerable people, as well as the peace of mind offered to their families.
In her spare time, Reema enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and being close to nature.
